Abu Dhabi Jiu-Jitsu Championship Concludes

The 16th Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship wrapped up with intense competitions and an awards ceremony. High-level athletes from 137 countries participated, showcasing remarkable skills in jiu-jitsu.

Abu Dhabi, UAE - Yesterday evening, competitions among judo instructors started in the colors of the purple and brown belts as part of the 16th World Judo Championship in Abu Dhabi. The competitions are held under the patronage of Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the President of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, at the Mubadala Arena with the participation of 9000 competitors from 137 countries around the world.

The leaders of yesterday's competitions in the category of judo instructors in the colors of purple and brown belts were Academies Commando Group, while the M.O.D Academy took second place, and the National Academy of Kazakhstan finished third.

On Tuesday, qualifying matches for judo instructors in black belts for men and on brown-black belts for women took place, where athletes competed for a place in the final rounds. The deciding matches will be held to determine the winners.

The events concluded with the competitions of the judo instructors in black belts for men and in brown-black belts for women as part of the 16th World Judo Championship in Abu Dhabi at the Mubadala Arena.

At the awards ceremony, the winners were presented by Haneef bin Mubarak Al Hadri, the General Director of the State Sports Council, Mohammed Salem Al Zahiri, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates Judo Federation, and also the Deputy Minister Salem Abdalla bin Barak Al Zahiri, fulfilling the responsibilities of the General Director of Civil Defense of Abu Dhabi.
